The structure of the timetable allows the Secondary School at Naranga to provide programs that suit students' needs.
Students do have some input into electives such as Visual Arts, Technology Materials, Dance, Bike Education, Outdoor Education, Home Economics. Some are offered on a semester basis.
The Friday timetable changes every term to cater for interschool sport, basketball and seasonal recreational activities.
