RETURN TO REMOTE LEARNING UPDATE

12.01.21: Update from the Principal - Kai Pukarinen.

RETURN TO REMOTE LEARNING UPDATE

This afternoon the Premier announced a 5 day lock down which includes closure of all schools.  The lock down starts today (Friday 12th Feb at midnight) and ends on Wednesday.  We are expecting to be reopened for all students on Thursday 18th February.  If there are any changes, I will use the school website and Sentral app to alert you to the changes.  The conditions are the same as during the stage 4 lock down last year.  Once again, I thank you in advance for your support of the school by keeping your children safely at home whenever possible.  All teachers will be teaching from home during the lock down.

You must contact me directly to request on site attendance- this applies to vulnerable children or if you are an essential worker and have no childcare options available to you.  I will be in my office Monday to answer queries from parents.

Your children’s teachers will connect with all students on Monday to answer questions and help them feel connected to the school.

Let’s all hope that the three days is all that is required to get on top of this outbreak.

I will share any further information as it comes to light.
