Dear students, parents, friends and visitors,
Making the decision to send your child to a specialist school can be difficult. Finding out as much as you can about your options will help you to make the best decision for you and your child.
Naranga is a select-entry government school for students who meet the criteria of having a mild intellectual disability. We have been providing specialist education to children in the greater Frankston area for over 40 years.
An education at Naranga ensures your child has access to smaller classes, qualified specialist teachers, and a broad array of learning activities – including Art, Digital Technology, Home Economics, Music, Dance, Physical Education and other hands-on programs. We also offer extra-curricular programs such as karaoke, Running Club, Puzzle Club and relaxation.
The Student Representative Council plays an active role in ensuring students have a say in how their school is run. Our staff comprises dedicated, highly qualified teachers and education support staff, as well as a psychologist, occupational therapist and speech pathologist.
Please explore our website and come and visit us to make sure the decision you make about your child’s schooling is an informed one – and the right one.
